I use Roxio Easy Media Creator that comes with my laptop. 100x lighter than full blown Nero.

I use that as well but i'm not sure if it's "light". Light enough to run without a hitch on my Netbook though.

haven't used one since longlong time. media player burns audio cd's (or itunes does). windows burns data disks.

if needed, i could install isoburner, which is very very lightweight, and allows to burn isos to disk.

ashampoo burning studio 9 awesome program that will do basically anything you need. otherwise imgburn those are the 2 that i run myself. imgburn can do anything you throw at it but some people find it a bit difficult or dont like the layout etc..

    ImgBurn

It's one of the few applications I keep with me at all times, and has can handle burning ISOs to disk, as well as burning CDs/DVDs.

Roxio Creator DE is nice, but as far as I can tell, it's more bloated than Imgburn and has stuff I'll never use, like label making components. Use a sharpie damnit!
