- DVD Movie Factory for Toshiba
- CyberLink PowerCinema for Toshiba
- Picasa 2
- QuickBook Finicial Center (I'm only 17 no need to pay bills if that is what it does?)
Those are really the only other programs listed in add/remove that I feel safe to remove since the rest of crap is published by Toshiba and I've heard dem horror stories haha.

In order:
DVD burner
DVD player
Image editor
Accounting software -
If you play DVDs on your laptop, you should probably keep Cyberlink PowerCinema.
Picasa is more of an image management tool than an editor, but if you don't do a whole lot of that, you can uninstall it. Besides, it's free software from Google, so you can download and install it whenever you actually do need it.
I'd say you can probably remove the other two if you don't even know what they do -
Picasa 2 and QuickBooks Finicial Center unistalled.
Gonna leave the other 2 just for safe keeping.
I used the standard add/remove programs feature, how can I see if there is any traces left on my computer?
I ran CCleaner after all my unistalling and removed about 150 registrys that came up.
Are they gone? -
I recommend using Revo Uninstaller for uninstalling programs. Best of all it's free and highly recommended.

moral hazard Notebook Nobel Laureate
I would definatly keep and use CyberLink PowerCinema for Toshiba.
I have it on my notebook and I like it. -
CyberLink PowerCinema is a waste if you're just into watching basic DVD's in Vista. I can watch DVD's within WMP11 and no special software req.
-
Meh.....I'd uninstall Cyberlink.
WMP or VLC can play DVDs fine -
If this is a brand new notebook and got enough disk space, I 'd leave them alone, just not using it.
cheers ... -
Cyberlink is a good program and might have features that VLC or Media Player doesn't have.
-
cheers ...
What are these programs and are they safe to unistall?
