Just wondering what free program I can use to create a virtual DVD drive. Daemon Tools has issues. Other programs are shareware with limitations.

Anyone have any luck with one?

    Thanks.

I believe Alcohol 120 also has this functionality.

Alcohol doesn't work in Win 7 afaik, I tried installing my copy and it wouldn't.

    So I went with PowerISO.

As long as you don't open the PowerISO main window it'll never nag you. I usually just use it's commands from Windows Explorer menu's for loading ISO's.

Well, the Virtual CloneDrive seems to be working well. Doesn't put an icon in the system tray, so have to open Windows Explorer or "My Computer" right click on Virtual Drive and Mount that way.

Hopefully Daemon Tools will be Win7 compatible soon.

No, Daemon tools does NOT work with Windows 7 yet. Otherwise I would be using it. I much prefer it.
