Got a webcam doesn't need any drivers, plugged it into the desktop works fine with msn but get no video at all when using skype. mic and speakers work though.

So unplugged the cam and plugged it into my laptop and with same version of skype video worked fine.

Both XP SP2 32 bit i'm on pro and desktop is home desktop has directx 9.0c which is same as laptop.

Just tried skype beta and same thing is happening on desktop, I did install splitcam and got video when using that but, when you run that and open skype, goto video settings and you see the little screen where you should be the picture freezes after a few seconds.

Im lost as to what it is.

    Any help would be great.
