    Want borrow Vista "start button" and "start menu" for XP ?

    Hi Guys,

    Just found link at http://lee-soft.com/ for XP, I was wonder if MS could make this like that better than real Vista huh ? pretty neat for people who want stick with XP.

    it'd look quite stupid just having a vista start menu with nothing else that looks like vista. does this package skin the entire xp?

    There is one issue with this. For many of us gamers it causes lag. Even in regular tasks you will notice lag. I know... I tried to convert my XP looks into vista use software such as that and viorb, themes, styler and noticed even with one you notice the lag.

    How is that photo any different than the actual Vista start menu?

    There are packages that skin XP completely to look like Vista. One is the Vista Transformation Pack. The only caution is that they modify system files, so there are no extra processes running aside from a more bloated Explorer.exe...so have a good backup.
