    WIN X Cold Bootup on a M17Xr4

    I upgraded/ downgraded /? moved onto 10 pro from an 8.1 pro license on my M17xr4 with a 7970M (yeah :), so everything goes well ( minus the DAMMIT drivers, but nonetheless she can game with enduro enabled), however i have noticed a recurring issue, if i do a complete shutdown of my win10, on a cold restart it boots normally, but once the "10 logo" flashes up it shuts down , no warning, no error, just turns off.
    If i however shutdown from 7 , i can get to the OS select option as per norm (this is the old fashion 7 OS select screen, because 7 is my Pri. OS)

    I have tried
    1) disabling fast boot
    2) disabling debug usb
    3) booting with 7970M or in enduro mode

    I have 7 so i have a modicum of ease of use and security (i check my updates against wilder's list of updates to avoid), so that cannot be removed
