    Does it work on Home basic?

    When i run it say dll files missing..patching will require a reboot...

    No, home basic does not have the aero feature.

    Yes, it is for making aero transparent, not for getting transparency where there is none to begin with.

    Those Hacks Dont Work!!! .. Did u read the comments below? ...good i didnt mess with my registry... the regediting does nothing... There's NO AERO on Basic with the Regedit

    Nah, Final Verdict..it DOESNT work.. I use following programs on Vista Home Basic:
    TrueTransparency for translucent Window Borders
    Transbar for Transparent taskbar
    Shock Aero for Flip3d .. I use CubeDesktop ... It gives me 6 Virtual Desktops to work on..
    FLip 3d is an underdog in front of these..
    And finally StarDock Softwares for Ultra Customization of Vista....(objectdock, WindowBlinds, Iconpackager, WindowFX etc)
