Ok, I'm new to Vista so please humor me...

In all folders on the C: drive, the check box next to Read-Only in the Properties is filled in with blue. What does this mean, vs. checked or unchecked? I've run into a couple problems that seem to be due to the files being "read-only", but I can't seem to change it.

    Thanks in advance!

This means that some folders within the folder you clicked are read-only, while some are not.

I don't know that you'd want to apply that to ALL folder w/in the C drive...what are you trying to do?
