    Hi all,

I'd like to have every folder that I open have the same view options. For instance: File name, size and date created.

When I open the folder now I get: file name, creator, #, tags, etc....

what a pain the butt to always have to change this.

    Any suggestions?

    TIA...

In Tools->Folder Options... go to the "View" tab and make sure that the tick box next to the option "Remember each folder's view settings" is not checked.

If you figure this out, let me know. I have tried all of the registry entries and it seems to work well until you have to reboot, then you have to do it again. Hopefully they fix this bug, it is very annoying.

In _Vista you probably have to be logged in as administrator to make permanent changes that affect all folders on the system.

Yeah those work until you reboot then you gotta do it over again. At least that's how it works for me.
