Hi everyone, I googled a thread about someone has problem from installing XP from a Vista laptop. I went to a computer store today and the technician told me that I had to disable the AHCI from BIOS, however, I was not able to locate where is it in BIOS. Can anyone be kind enough to help me out.

Btw my laptop is a ASUS w7s, if that helps.

    Thanks
    Good day all.

This question is specific to Asus's BIOS... so try the Asus forum.

Turn your SATA controller on 'Compatibility Mode' otherwise you will need the F6 Floppy
