I'm running Vista Home Basic, is there a way to change the EQ? In many songs I have, there's almost no bass. My laptop is connected to pretty decent external speakers. And I'm using iTunes.

Use one of the many free media players which have advanced EQ settings.

if u want to add bass to the songs just chk in the control panel under the sound and audio is the enhancement enabled/disabled../ if they are disbaled enable it but thr is a bad effect it wud make the windows media play(if u use this ) slower and the songs wud take time to load
