bought a encloser and put my IDE drive in from my desk top but when i turn it on and plug it in Vista doesnt recognize it.
    Any suggestions?
Do i need to set ot to a certain place, like slave, master, etc?

EDIT: Ok after messing around i got it to work, had to put it on Cable select in case some one has the same problem.

Master or auto might work. Some external hard drives on the market are not compatable with Vista at this time.
