sp1 is an update. are you asking about vista and vista with service pack 1? if you are, vista with service pack 1 includes service pack 1 on the dvd and you don't have to download it.

go to Microsoft's site and read up on Vista - SP1 basically added underlying stability and security.

Yeah it is just an addition group of fixes to the main operating system. You would have to download it unless the DVD you get is fairly recent.

Be respectful. English clearly isn't that person's first language. Big deal, you can still figure out what's going on.

Easy : which one goes worse is the non-SP1 version, the one that is snappier and does file transfers faster is Xp.
    I mean SP1 :D

Yes it should, my computer below which shipped on 4/18 had SP1 on it. But you might want to check in the Dell forum as they were a little behind a week or two ago.

If you could know how to include a picture for your NBR avatar, do a little search with google to know about Vista /Vista SP1.

Most definitely it better. SP1 has been RTM since February. There is no excuse to not have it on there by now.

An easy way to tell is to click the Start Orb-If you see a choice on the right hand portion of the menu for "Search" then you don't have service pack 1. If you don't see it then you do. :)
