    I have vista 32 home on my computer, if I install vista business, will it overwrite all my files? or will I be safe to install without loss of data?

    Yes it will overwrite it, unless it lets you choose Upgrade instead of Clean Install.

    You can install it on a different partition so you can dual boot between the two. You will need to create a new partition though.

    You can't upgrade from home premium to business, only a clean install is possible.
