Hi, i was play some games when suddenly, my laptop just shut down on its own. So I was like "WTF?" and I tried starting up again, but after choosing how to boot, (Safe mode, etc), it gave me the windows loading screen and then turned black. It was still running, but nothing happens. Just a black screen. :S What do I do? I can't go into Windows!

It is difficult to determine the problem with the information that you have provided, but you may have experienced a hardware failure... can you supply us with details?

Like bc135 said, not enough info.

However, boot into safe mode and see if it clings to loading one thing. If so, you're going to have to do a repair install or reformat.

Either get your recovery discs, or boot into your recovery partition (F12?).

System Restore, maybe? Did you do any changes to your config before it died? Like install something?

I was just thinking that the reason for the sudden shutdown could be that you ran out of battery. I have had that sometimes, my laptop does an emergency shutdown, but its fine after.
