    Vista boot screen weird thing

    With my new m1330, the vista boot screen is missing vista logo for some reason.
    The little green loading thing does appear but above that, it's just a blank screen...

    Nothing really serious but I'm just wondering why the vista logo doesn't show up like it should


    EDIT: THANKS FOR ALL THE RESPONSES GUYS. I though it was supposed to show up since...in windows xp, it had the logo and I thought the vista screen looked kinda weird with that blank spot...

    Has it just recently disappeared or did it come like that? If it came like that, I would say Dell just installed a custom boot screen.

    you just noticed? Vista boot screen never had a logo. Just a progress bar.

    Yes... it's true for ALL vista systems...

    Btw, if you want an alternate "aero" bootscreen go to msconfig, "boot" tab, and check "no GUI boot".

    It's how vista boots up. The vista logo comes after the splash loading screen.
