    Vista Ultimate 64 takes forever to load on boot?

    I recently received a replacement notebook with Ultimate 64, I have Home Premium 64 running on a laptop with the exact same specs. The Ultimate pc takes like 3 times as long to boot up, with otherwise the exact same configuration. Is this normal?

    let me also add, i have removed some bloatware, defragged the drive, and downloaded all driver updates... it just takes FOREVER for windows to load up

    Try going through the drivers again one by one, uninstall it, and let Vista searches it for you.
