Recently I have started having a problem, where anytime I resume Vista from sleep, the display resolution goes from 1400x1050 (as it should be) to 1024x768. I have to manually fix it, it doesn't come back after a while. The best I can figure is that this only happens if I resume while on batteries (regardless of where I enter sleep from). I don't think I have seen this when I sleep from AC. Any ideas about whats wrong or how to fix it?

vista really has a lot of problems with sleep states....when i had a vista notebook, the problem was with the webcam, but since the v6 doesn't have one, that isn't the problem. they have a lot of hotfixes dealing with hibernation/sleep, so i would try one of them first, to see if any work:

I think it's the problem with some incomplete ACPI drivers.
