ever since i installed Vista SP2 (approximately 30 minutes ago), ive been having sound delays in Counter Strike Source and a bit on youtube.

Is this normal? Will it pass after some time of system adjustment? How can i fix this issue?

    thanks!

    CCleaner may help you.
    www.ccleaner.com - D/L and guide

After using the ccleaner, restart your computer for a few times.
    Then, check the problem again.

Check your power options. When playing PC games you should at minimum be at "balanced" and at best "high performance". ;)

This might be true as well.
Make sure it is HIGH PERFORMANCE so that, your computer won't lag and slowdown.

Ive restarted my computer several times (5+) , checked the power options (has been set to High performance all the time)

    Still with no success.

Are there possible alternatives? Creative hasnt gotten new drivers to download so it s not a driver issue/

I also ran CCleaner around 10 times :S

Have you checked out their forum section? They release some new drivers that they don't put up on their main site.

That's so strange. Vista SP2 feels so much snappier for me, no problems at all here.
