    weird, the RTM that I "downloaded" allowed the visual style to work no problem, but the sp2 I just installed from microsoft doesn't work. I also tried repatching the .dll files but it keeps getting an error of "file is use". If anyone know a way around this, pls help.

    You need patched uxtheme files for Vista SP2, I use these without any problem. Remember to backup before you start, good luck :)
