I'm not sure I've made any software changes recently but it seems that my power plans have gone missing.

Trying to choose power options via control panel shows that I cannot change any settings "power plan is unavailable", help button recommends that my management settings or registry may be corrupt.

Can't find much via google! Any have suggestions other than a re-install of OS?

Doesn't help I don't have system restore points either :(
