I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are about Vista Manager which is a system utility that helps you optimize, tweak, and clean up Windows Vista.

I would like some feedback on this like has anyone used it, has it improved your OS etc. etc. etc.
Here is the link to the program http://www.yamicsoft.com/vistamanager/index.html

Any thoughts and help will be greatly appreciated.

I found out about this program after reading threw the,

I've tested/used Vista Manager, you can customize quite a lot of things. However, I didn't use it to optimize (improve) and clean the system. For cleaner, I'm using CCleaner instead. For optimization, I still did everything manually or through the registry. But if you're not comfortable with editing the registry, you can use Vista Manager, although I haven't tried those functions, but basically it's doing the same as editing the registry yourself. You can also edit the registry directly within Vista Manager, they have their own registry editor, which has a bit more features than Windows's regedit.

My personal motto, is to never pay for anything that "tweak" system performances.

The input in NBR's link is good enough for souping up Vista, if one so chooses.

    cheers ...

In terms of system tweaks, basically everything Vista Manager is capable of can be done manually through Windows or registry. This program is for people who are not familiar with all the features within Windows nor comfortable with editing the registry. It's not a bad program, and it's clean.

Vista Manager can do a lot more than what have shown in the NBR Vista Tips and Tweaks Guide, but it comes with a price.
