This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Vista Default program issues

    I am having issues with Vista resetting my default programs about 2-3 times per week. I reset them properly using the "default program" selection on the start menu etc. I use non-microsoft programs for browsing, email, and media files, so I have wonder if Big Bill is hinting at me to return to the dark side. I can keep resetting, but it is a pain. Any thoughts?
