    Hi guys,
I want to install Ubuntu 9.04 on my Win7 Home Premium desktop. I had it as a dual boot first, but I got tired of shutting down either OS to boot into the other. Now, I just have Win7. I downloaded VMware. The problem with that is it adds a user named "_vmware_user", so I have to click on my user name every time. I prefer to just have one user and boot into it directly rather than clicking on it.

What are other options? Would Windows Virtual PC RC let me install ubuntu?

Thats weird because the user VMware adds doesn't usually show up in the login screen..

Yeah, you're right. I only see that user if I go to parental control.
Before installing VMware, it logs me in directly.
After installing VMware, I have to click on my user name, even though I dont have a password protection.

I use Sun VirtualBox, works flawlessly.

Windows Virtual PC does not work as it doesn't support USB mice in Ubuntu, so you're going to have to use your arrow keys to control your mouse pointer.

you need to install the virtualbox addons to each of the hosted VMs.
