Virtual disk 8 is a program that lets you create a virtual CD Rom to run programs without a disk. Is there a DVD equivalent program that lets you load the DVD into the hard drive?

i think alcahol 120% will make DVD immages, but why would you want to take up 4.7 or more gigs on your HD?

Daemon tools allows you to have up to 6 virtual drives I think, and can use any image file as far as I know.

DVD Decrypter will allow you to rip a DVD to your HD. You can then dispose of any DVD options (2nd audio, 'making of' etc.) you don't want. PowerDVD can play the remaining files quite well.

    First PC = Vic-20, 8" 128KB Home-Brew Floppy Drive ... Current Rig = eMachines m6805 ... Quantum Leap?
