Anyone able to recommend a video conferencing program?

I just got a laptop with a built in camera, and my wife has a Mac with a built in camera. I'd love to be able to video chat with my kids, when I'm on the road for business.

To be clear, I'm wondering what people use and if it works on both Macs and Windows....

    Free is good......

    Thanks in advance!

Skype, no doubt. I'm in the South Pacific, my brother lives in Austria and my parents in Spain. I do video conference flawlessly with all of them.

There are Windows and Mac versions. Installation under Windows is as easy as it gets (no idea about Mac, but i guess it'll be the same). It uses P2P technology and it is totally free.

    Cheers, mate.

well...basically use your Instant Messaging Program as your Video Conferencing software to talk to people. I wouldn't recommend buying Video Conferencing software, unless you are a buisness user.

If you are a buisness user, you'd really want something like Raindance Meeting Edition.

I personally use Skype when talking to my Son using my notebook, I recommend it. I don't know about Raindance Meeting, but I might give it a try.
