    Verifying online downloads

    im using windows vista premium and whenever i download anything online it downloads realy fast like 100-300kb/s so a 2mb item takes like 1 second and then it says its verifying the download for like 3 minutes depending on how big the file is, is there any way to make vista stop from verifying downloads so i dont have to wait forever?

    P.S. im using IE7

    You can turn off IE7 protected mode.
    tools>internet options>security-uncheck "Enable protected mode".
    That will stop verification.
