Hi everyone. I am running Vista Home Premium 32-bit, and I have a question about the "Open Capture Device" feature of VLC. Will VLC be able to capture the input from my Dazzle DVC170? I don't have any problems with the DVC170, so basically I just want to know if VLC can use it. I believe the Dazzle video adapter is a hardware based adapter, and I don't know if VLC is compatible with that type. If I go to select which capture device to use in VLC, the DVC170 does show up in the list, but I can't seem to get any video on the screen. There are so many settings to play with, I don't really know where to begin. Has anyone gotten one of these Dazzle adapters to work in VLC? It doesn't really matter if it's the same adapter as mine, because the whole line of them are very similar. And if you have gotten one to work with VLC, how did you? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
