I'm using the new version of VLC. When playing video, it plays fine at every size except for when I go fullscreen. Once I do that, it skips frames and plays slow. How can I fix this?

I recommend using KM Player. It's much better than VLC, in every way shape and form(Watch all the VLC fanboys attack me). Can play everything without additionaly codecs like VLC, but also has more features, skins, uses less resources, playback is super smooth unlike VLC where it lags when you use the slider to fast forward. Try it out!

Did this happen with the old version of VLC as well? Have you checked system while running VLC through task manager?

I would suggest using CCCP if VLC is still giving you problems.

You just got to get used to it, took me like 5 minutes to figure out most things. Desktop mode aka shift+enter=WIN!
VLC's new version is too buggy and laggy and slow. The UI is even uglier too. It's horrible. The version before the latest is better but still doesn't compare to KM Player.
