I am trying to use microsoft outlook to send my pictures through email. I am not sure how to sign up to do this, I go into to add myself as a new email account, and there are several different types, any advice on how to do this and what is the best method to use for my email account?

should be a pop3 account. what email do you use? gmail and yahoo use pop3. hotmail cant use outlook as far as i know. you need to know the pop3 server, smtp server, login name (normaly your email) and password ofcourse.

actually, you can use hotmail in outlook. when you choose what type of email, choose the HTTP option for hotmail.

You can normally google "outlook and yahoo mail" and it should pop up everything you need. I would say the smtp would be something along the lines of smtp.mail.yahoo or something to that effect.

    Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Account Name/Login Name: Your Yahoo! Mail name (your address without the "@yahoo.com")

make sure you tell it to login for outgoing email. Also for gmail you need to activate pop3. Maybe yahoo needs to activate it aswell but I am not sure about that.

edit* sorry i just read. pop3 is only available with Yahoo! premium. I guess it doesnt work. get gmail :p

Go to 'Settings' top right. Then go to 'Forwarding and Pop' there is an option to 'Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)'
On the same page there is a link to 'Configuration instructions' with all the server info.
