    I am using a computer running xp without administrator privileges. Basically, I can't install any software. Is there a way to remove this administrator thing? I don't have a restore disk. Thanks a lot.

    There is always an administrator account. It is impossible to get rid of all of them.... Which means you were probably only given a limited account for a reason, to prevent you from installing stuff.

    Who's computer is this?

    The guy is gone (dead). I can't ask him. I can't like do the F8 thing and change it in the BIOS or something like that?

    NBR does not allow the discussion of bypassing security measures(like gaining access to a admin account on a computer that isnt your). If it is legally your computer, ask a psychic to help you get in contact with the dead :rolleyes:
