    Hi there
Recently, I am hearing out of no where, a few seconds of music that is randomly playing on my computer. Its none of my music personally. I dont have any media players open when this music turns on. It just occurs out of nowhere. The computer could be on idle, or when im web browsing etc. It just occurs out of nowhere for a few seconds. The only thing I have done recently is to put igoogle and mess around with that. Has anyone encountered something like this before? Does anyone know how I can get rid of this random music that plays every so often?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

What kind of music is it? Is it different each time? Is it Windows sample music?

Like lokster said, it could be music from your browser, so the question is: is your browser always open when this "unexpected music" occurs?

What song is it? If it is "Fur Elise" or if "It's a Small Small World" take a look here.

Theres no vocal. Its just guitar or some other rock instrument. I dont see anything strange about my web browser. Everything looks in tact. Its happend on previous days as well so when i shut down and restart, it still happens

So does it happen when the browser is closed. If not, it might be some software you have installed, maybe that came with your computer.

I believe that it happens whether not the browser (firefox) is open.
To give you an example of what it sort of sounds like this without the vocal
and ya....it only happens for like 5 seconds and then its gone
