I know the issue with dl'ing AIM 6.5 was widespread. It happened to me a couple of months ago. At the time I did the fix of adding Local Service to the Adminstrator group. But a few hours after doing that, I realized it wasn't a good idea because of the security risk. I'm not exactly sure what I did to reverse it....but I think all I did was a system restore and then downloaded AIM 6.0.

Well recently, AIM 6.0 has been bugging me to upgrade to 6.5 nonstop. After getting sick and tired of their garbage I DL'ed Trillian and rid my computer of the annoying AIM programs.

So, Now I'm kind of wanting to make sure that I reversed the fix I used several months ago. But I'm not really sure how to tell. Can anyone help me out?

Basically, I want to know how to check what has administrator access and what groups should have administrator access.
