    True Crypt Help!

    I made a TrueCrypt but I can open it.. I know the password but when I attempt to open the file it says i dont have the right program to open it... Whats should I do?

    Define "attempt to open"... if you're just missing the proper file association, open the Truecrypt GUI and open it from there (select a free drive letter, "Select File..." and browse to your container, "Mount").

    Yes, unless you use an insecure password (i.e. a generic word that's listed in dictionaries, or something short enough it can be brute forced in a feasible amount of time), which would pretty much defeat the purpose of using encryption.
    So backup your stuff :p

    You should attempt to mount the file through truecrypt. Simply start the program, browse to the file and press mount. TC should then prompt you for the password.

    Does anyone know how I avoid getting the error message "Volume is already mounted" when trying to designate the Volume Location of a hidden volume inside a Trucrypt volume?
