    Can anyone get AOL/AIM screen names to work on trillian? Mines will connect for 3 seconds and then disconnect says password is wrong.

    I tried to look it up, but no luck.

    LOL, I knew somebody was gonning to say that.

    This happens on BOTH my AIM accounts and I know the passwords are right.

    Are you using the latest Trillian? If not, maybe I should downgrade mines.

    works for me too... Maybe try recreating your AIM connection profiles in Trillian?

    i wasn't trying to be funny, it's just you should start troubleshooting at the "lowest" level which would be making sure the p/ws were correct.

    i'm using pro 3.1 build 121.

    i run multiple AIM accounts, 1 Y account and 1 msn account. i've never had a p/w error come up unless i actually entered the p/w incorrectly which did happen to me on the Y account because i forgot i changed it.

    in all honesty, and i'm sure you've checked it, i'm 99.999% sure that if it's telling you it's a p/w error, it really is a p/w error.

    I have no problems with both the freeware (office) and paid (home) versions using 2 AIM accounts.

    OK, I fix it by reinstalling twice. It sure wasn't wrong password problem tho.
    I'm just glad it's fix :D

    I wish I can LOG-ON automatic when I click the E-MAIL box reminder.

    It's works with YAHOO using Active-X, but with Hotmail & Aol you have to manually type in screen & pass.

    Is this the same for everyone else? Is there a fix?

    For a time it was working for me but ever since I locked down my machine, I lost this feature. I suspect it has to do with cookies as I change the default options. It doesn't bother me that much.

    They are. Performance, startup times and memory footprint are their main focus for the next version. (And yes, I agree, it's abotu time) :)

    No kidding. They have not released an update since God knows when. BTW, I ended up buying a copy because I use it so much and the performance is the same as the freeware version.
