I have Microsoft Office Standard Edition installed onto my old laptop, fully functioning and registered. I recently bought a new laptop, but can't seem to get Office installed onto it.

Is there a way I can my copy of Windows Office Standard edition from my old laptop onto my new laptop without having to install it again with a registration key?

If you want a free alternative, OpenOffice I find is definitely just as good.

Didn't look at the FAQ but the issue is probably that the key has been used too many times. If you call in they'll give you a new key.

I too had the same problem; however, there is an easy solution, but unfortunetly, I do not have the name of the software with me as I am at work.

This software runs some type of diagnostic test and produces every key for every piece of software on your computer.

What I did, installed the trial version from MS on new laptop, then, run the software on old laptop, and then, entered the key on the new laptop. Worked well.

If you need the name of the software, email me.
