Hey guys, sorry if this has been posted before, but are there any "tweaks" for the Y410p's touchpad that would make it more tolerable to use?

I remember reading that there was a way to have the touchpad disable momentary when you click down on it so that your cursor doesn't accidentally move elsewhere, though I can't seem to find it again.

Also, is there a way to disable the two finger "autoscrolling"? I like the two finger scrolling itself, but I absolutely hate how it will keep scrolling as long as your fingers stay on the touchpad.

    Thanks!

    Allen,

You've probably figured this out on your own because it's been a few months since your post, but I'm sure there are webcrawlers out there who are still looking for answers since Lenovo keeps dropping the price on the y410p.

    Home>Control Panel>Mouse
    Click the Device Settings tab
Click Settings... on the middle right of the window

This will open the Synaptics Control Panel

I changed the following settings and although it is not perfect, it makes for a better touchpad experience for me:
-One Finger: Unchecked Drag and Drop
    -One Finger: Unchecked Edge Swipes
    -Multifinger: Unchecked Clicking
    -Multifinger: Unchecked Continuous Scrolling
    -Multifinger: Unchecked Reverse Scrolling Direction
-Advanced: Changed Sensitivity to Light Touch

If this has helped any of you, please let me know! Thanks!
