I was just wondering.. what kind of torrent search engines do you guys use?
As for me, I normally stick to isohunt or torrentreactor.net.

    torrentz.com

All other torrent search engines have too much clutter and load too slow.

My brother told me TorrentSpy.com has to now provide the MPAA and what not, the ip's of the people who use it, so now I don't use it. I now use MiniNova.com

Uhmm.. I'm not sure about that but I've seen on internet articles that ISOHunt and TorrentSpy will use "filters" in the future to filter your search. This means if someone posted a torrent with "microsoft" or any type of keyphrases which relate to copyrighted material will be filtered and blocked from upload. Right now they're still in development phase and they're working with some firm (I can't recall at this point). So in the future you prolly won't be able to find copyrighted materials on Torrentspy or ISO hunt.

Since most of the sites listed in this thread allow illegal downloads its probably against the TOS of this site to allow this thread here.

    Isohunt and demonoid.

Since the sites themselves are legal and they don't host any illegal material, it most likely isn't against the ToS. Besides, very often ToS themselves are illegal. But it's up to mods and admins to decide.

Why? Those site also have links to a lot of legal items, like Linux Downloads. As long as there is no talk of illegal downloads, then i don't see a problem.

torrentscan.com is the best it gives you the function to search all those sites listed here. Best one in my opinion. As it allows me to look for files in multiple sites.

Isohunt's better. It does the same thing, but at the same time. And through more trackers. Besides, demonoid is a private tracker, and if you wanna download stuff older than a few days, you need to sign up, so the point of torrentscan being able to search demonoid becomes inconsequential.

We will tolerate this thread as long as it does not discuss breaking of any copyrights or ask/give illegal material. Once it crosses that line the thread will be locked and points possibly taken.

Btjunkie.org by far has the most torrents. It has the most torrents of any site. It is not that user friendly though.
