The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Tired of No Restore Disc Downloads

    Am I the only person who is fed up with companies never offering Restore disc downloads?
    I can see the logic in it, but they could offer something in the line of torrent style downloads to allow people like me, who operate computer repair shops, the ability to download restore discs that most customers seem to misplace.

    Does anybody know of any good sites to download restore discs to nearly all manufactures?

    And of course for free.

    You need to contact the manufacturer for these disks as any other way is illegal. Thread closed.
