    You download this update and it guarantees that you are using genuine Windows, what is that about? Windows came with the computer, sounds like you are downloading spyware or at best useless bloatware.

    Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) checks to see if you have a legit copy of Windows before it installs any updates. If your copy of Windows is not legit, then it won't install certain updates.

    And it has already violated some laws relating to spyware. Cananda if my memory is correct.
