    hi guys, where is the Run command on the start menu on vista? I cant find it.

    It was easy to find on XP

    You don't need the Run dialog box anymore. Simply type the path in the Start menu's search field and you can run it right there. As you type the path, it dynamically updates the Start menu with the contents of the folder you're looking in. Extremely handy.

    Alternatively, press Windows-R to open the traditional Run dialog. Or, you can also unhide the Run option in the Start menu by doing the following:

    Right-click Start menu -> Properties -> Start Menu tab -> Customize -> check the Run command box

    Window Start Key + R

    Alternately, right click on Vista orb, properties, start menu, customize and check of Run command and it will appear.

    Right-click on the Start Menu icon, Properties, Start Menu Tab, Customize, Scroll down to Run Command, Place a checkmark in the box.

    just hit start button and type "run" than hit enter ... very hard ... it should work ... :D

    o yeah or u can just:
    Press “Windows Key” + “R” to bring out the RUN dialog box!!! :D

    The Start Search box works just like the run command at least when typing "cmd" witch is really all I need to get to C prompt.

    I also took notice to how Vista's Start Search box functions like the run command. You can type in msconfig/etc and it will open it immediately.
