    Hi to all.

    I have just bought a Sony Vaio : VGN-AR61ZU.

My problem is that i have to use JewelCad for my job and is not compatible with windows Vista. Can i install Windows Xp on it? Can i find a way for making it work with Vista? Is there a way having both OS in my laptop? Because a friend of mine said to me that i can use windows vista as a normal user and XP as administrator, but he wans't sure.

    Thanks to all.

Have you tried Vista's program compatibility settings?

Right-click the executable (or shortcut), click Properties, then go to the Compatibility tab.

Anyway, if that doesn't work, and you want both OSes, then sure, you can either dual-boot or use virtualization software.
