I bought a hp that came with Sonic preinstalled on it. I was trying to back up a dvd and since I now have the option of burning dual layer dvd's and not shrinking the dvd, which looses quality, I wanted to just save the dvd to my hard drive. There is an option to do this in Sonic but it saves it in 5 or 6 different files??? What all the files? Will this burn the movie when I buy some Dual Layer dvd's?

I used to have Roxio and always used Dvd Shrink to backup. Is there another way that would get the full back up of my dvd movie? Or freeware until I buy a better media program.
    Thanks
