    Solidworks 2007 very laggy on my computer?

    I have solidworks 2007 and its very laggy on my computer even opening the side menus there is lag.

    I tried the first tutorial and everything was so laggy.

    You certainly have a half decent system to run it...

    When you use SolidWorks, how much memory is it using, and how much is being used before hand?

    according to the solidworks website, your graphics card + driver are not listed/have not been tested for compatibility

    You do have some issue, that is not normal behavior. I worked with Solidworks 2002 and geforce 1... anyway check if there is some option in Solidworks preferences that is not compatible.

    hmm thanks for the replies apparently people wiht x64 versions of windows 7 have trouble running it, from p4s to dual xeons, solidworks 2008
