This is very embarrassing. It has been so long since I have upgraded my software I can't remember if I need the Product ID or not. I ask this because I just purchased a Toshiba R15 and cannot find a product id for MS Works and I want to upgrade to office. The last thing I want to do is purchase an Office upgrade package only to find I need to purchase the full edition.

Do you have the Works disk? Many times an Upgrade package will ask you to just insert the disk if it doesn't find a pre-installed copy of an earlier version.
