I want to know is there any free software that will run in my systray and change my desktop wallpaper after a fixed time( say every 15 min or one hour). Currently I am using webshots software for this purpose, it does the job like this but I can,t use my personal collection of wallpapers in it.
Will be thankful for any help.
    Thanks.

    hello!

i've tried using webshot a month ago... i got bored with it so i unistall...

commenting on question above, webshot can actually use your personal collection of wallpapers. there is an option there that allows you to save your wallpapers. just navigate webshot. i did this before. so you don't need another free software.

I use desktop sidebar which displays system stats etc. It has a slideshow tab and one of the functions of this tab is to randomly change the wallpaper to one from the slideshow at a chosen interval. The tab can be closed and still function and it can also use multiple folders and website urls to snatch the pics from.

i've tried the microsoft wallpaper changer as well. the only thing i did not like about this powertoy is that there is no random setting. the images will display in sequence. but you can set the changing time in hours not days, so this might work for you.

No, I have windowblinds on my laptop with a "Vista" style theme. I just used a desktop sidebar skin that matched.
