Are you attempting to run the program thru RAR or did you extract the files first then ran the program? I recommend extracting all the files into a directory and run it from there. Is this a complete program burnt from the original disc? Is it an ISO file? If it's an ISO file you have to burn the program to a disc with an appropriate program. Could also be because you don't have enough Hard Disk space to load the program.

You will need WinRAR to extract it first, RAR is like ZIP, just another compressed archive.

Also, if the .rar file is corrupted or incomplete, you won't able to open or extract it even if you have WinRAR.

Since you're having trouble with WinRAR... 7-Zip can also extract RAR files... you could give that a try.

This sounds like you need now Daemon Tool. I had a File that was BIN and there was something else with it (forgot what the other file was). Then I was able to run the file.

Just if you don't mind me asking, what are you trying to run? Would helps us more, Game, program , video, music , etc.....

Yeha then try to use Daemon tool and try to mount the file.

It's very and i mean very easy to use, and the best thing it free and works on 64Bit.

If you don't no what it is. It make like a CD driver on your computer and you can just boot office 07 from a file with out a CD or making a CD.

Could be your copied file is also corrupted. When you extracted all the files.. did you click on 'setup' or the file that will start the installation?

If the tool isn't installed and/or doesn't have a registry key that adds it to the pop-up context menu, then it won't be on the context menu that pops up when you right-click on the file in question.

Oh sry dud should have told you how. ok ok

1)Look in the right corner were you Daemon tool is. Then right click and click on "Virtual CD/DVD-Rom"

2)Then "Device 0: [F] Empty" (you may have a different letter other then "F")

    3)Then "Mount Image "

Select your file, so find your folder of were you want to mount the image. If you get to your folder and nothing is there. (Daemon tool doesn't see anything)

Then I am at a loss.

So if Daemon tool see it. You are good to go

If Daemon tool Doesn't see the file. We have another problem.

Well, if the original is damaged and you made a copy of it, then you probably inherited the same issue.

You need to contact MS about a replacement disc.

"None original disc"...what do you mean?
