    Hey Sirs,
I am doing a presentation for people in different room (there my external monitor will be). While I will present I need to use other software on my laptop. Is there a software, that would enable me to have opened window with what is happening on my external monitor, while I work on other things on my laptop?
    Thank You
    Koza

just plug on your external monitor and set them not to mirror each other is the easiest if I am following your needs correct. you can work in each screen independently.

Yes, the external monitor is connected to my laptop.
On the external monitor I need to show a video while I will be typing a text under it probably in word or other text editor. The video I don't realy need to see, but concerning the text - I need to be able to work with it.
    Indrek, I will chceck

Could you just composite the text onto your video in advance?

I have to react to what is happening in the room so it would be hard to do...

Can you take your laptop to that room? I'm not trying to be difficult, just curious about the requirement.

No, I can't. Probably I should get another laptop just for that presentation.
