I already knew how to do it with all the folders, but I just want it for the desktop icons. Anyone has any idea how to do this? Thanks.

If you've enabled single click opening in your folder options, then this should work with desktop icons also - it does for me.

Actually I already knew that. What I really want is for the single click action to work on the desktop icons only. Thanks anyway :).

Hmm, that's good. Maybe it will finally make my step sisters happy with using Windows, since they always forget to double click on the icons. (They have a Mac).

What about using the Desktop toolbar on Taskbar?

I rather use docks (rocketdock, objectdock, etc) instead of the Desktop toolbar. Anyway thanks for the suggestion.
