I recently did it............now I'm finding that some of my games and other software won't load on it. The original Far Cry won't for instance. There might be a work-around that I'm not aware of since I'm not all that computer literate. I'm vacillating between keeping x64 and going back to 32 bit myself.

The disc that comes with the Sager 5793, regardless of the OS ordered (or none), assumes Vista x64. That should be a hint.

I have been running Vista 64 for almost a year and I love it. Slim, I don't know why you were having problems with Farcry because I was able to run Hitman 2 which dates back 2002. I have said this before and will say it again: there are some games out already that take advantage of the 64 bit OS. 64 is the future and I haven't had any troubles running programs on my notebook except iTunes and Rhapsody; I believe iTunes supports it now. I would recommend to go for the switch and use the 64.

Yes sir, Crysis is one of them. It actually runs better on 64 than 32.

Hardly. Occasionally you will find a program that has problems with the x64 environment...usually these are programs that cannot run b/c of system-level conflicts the the x64 infrstructure (e.g. Sandboxie, NHC, etc.).

But by and large I am not lacking nor do I feel cheated out of the ability to run any software.
